Indigo 4's Keystone Enterprise is the UK's leading clinical and
administrative messaging solution. Developed in conjunction with clinicians and
IT specialists, it is currently utilised by over 150 NHS Trusts and Independent
Sector Treatment Centres.
Keystone Enterprise manages data flows between hospitals, laboratories, PCTs,
GPs, Community Care and the NHS Secondary Uses Service (SUS).
First introduced to the marketplace in 2001, Keystone Enterprise is approved
to handle all national standard message types, including those for Pathology,
Radiology, Cytology including cervical screening data, Clinical Correspondence
including Discharge Summaries, Commissioning Data Sets (CDS) and Communities
Data Set (CIDS).
The original "Keystone Classic" system has now been replaced with "Keystone
Enterprise", a system with the same look and messaging power of "Keystone
Classic", but with a more scalable and flexible database in Microsoft SQL
Server.
Designed around customers' needs, Keystone is able to send messages in
multiple formats, including XML, HL7, EDIFACT and ASTM1238, and works seamlessly
with the Data Transfer Service (DTS).
