Indigo 4 Systems Limited has been involved in the submission of CDS for well
over a decade. The company originally submitted data to the NHS Wide Clearing
Service (NWCS), before the national migration to the Secondary Uses Service
(SUS). The company was the first supplier to achieved Technical Authority To
Deploy (TATD) for the CDS V5 XML message type. Today customers can submit in
either of the supported standards via the "Indigo 4 CDS Translation Service".
The company offers two different mechanisms for the submission of CDS to the
SUS. Customers who wish to manage their own CDS translation and submission may
purchase a Keystone server and relevant CDS
translation modules. Alternatively customers may send CDS submissions to the
"Indigo 4 CDS Translation Service" where the data is validated, translated and
submitted on the customer's behalf.
Indigo 4 Systems Limited has authored a number of standard CDS
specifications, which the majority of our customers use. In addition, the
company has a great experience in producing submissions based on local
specifications.
The Service enables each organisation to submit the full range of CDS types:
- Inpatients

Critical Care data sets are supported in full accordance with the national
