Few companies understand CDS dataflows and the NHS-wide Clearing Service as
well as Indigo 4. Back in 1995, we played a key role in its conception,
delivery and development and over 60 hospital trusts and PCTs currently use our
'Keystone' software to manage these dataflows themselves.
The creation of the now widely available Data Transfer Service in 2003 has,
in turn, enabled the formation of our CDS Translation Service. It has also
opened up the market to choice and innovation, whereas previously only NHS
organisations themselves were permitted to make data exchanges with the
NWCS.
